As a Purchasing Bahan Baku specialist, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations based in Bogor, West Java. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials that meet our quality standards while optimizing costs and ensuring timely delivery. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual to work directly with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners to ensure seamless procurement processes.
Tanggung jawab: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of raw materials based on quality, price, reliability and delivery performance; Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal costs whilst maintaining quality standards; Process purchase orders accurately and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials; Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations teams to forecast material requirements; Maintain detailed records of supplier performance, pricing agreements and procurement history; Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules and any issues or discrepancies; Conduct market research to stay informed of pricing trends, new suppliers and material availability; Resolve procurement issues including late deliveries, quality concerns and payment discrepancies; Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations; Collaborate with warehouse, production and finance teams to optimise inventory management.
