About the role We are seeking an Officer, Finance to join our finance team at our facility in Bandung, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting functions of Asia Pulp and Paper. As an Officer, Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, contributing to regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights that support business decision-making. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and transparency of our operations.

Key responsibilities Preparing and reconciling financial statements, general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers in accordance with accounting standards and company policies Recording, verifying and processing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all accounting entries

Conducting regular account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies to maintain data integrity Supporting the preparation of management accounts, financial reports and regulatory filings Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals, provisions and adjustments

Maintaining comprehensive documentation and supporting schedules for all financial transactions and reports Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather financial information and clarify accounting matters Supporting internal and external audit activities by providing requested documentation and explanations

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the efficiency of finance operations What we're looking
