Role Level: Medior ‍ Employment Type: Contract, 12 months We're looking for a Backend Developer to join a growing engineering team building and maintaining backend systems for an ERP platform used in the retail industry (US market) . You'll own backend features end-to-end (from APIs and integrations to database structures) while working closely with Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps to ship reliable, production-ready solutions. This role also involves supporting and mentoring junior team members as the team scales.

Develop and maintain features including authentication, authorization, data flow, validation, and error handling. Integrate backend systems with third-party services, including payment gateways.

Troubleshoot and resolve backend bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues through structured debugging. Identify technical debt and reliability risks, and propose practical improvements. Participate in technical planning, task breakdown, code review, and release preparation.

Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps to ensure backend work supports shared delivery goals. Provide guidance and support to junior backend team members through review, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. Minimum 2 years of professional backend development experience.

Education background is open . We prioritize hands-on skills over formal degree. Strong hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel) . Solid understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
