About the role We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Bandung Regency, West Java on a full-time basis. As a Merchandiser at PT Gistex Garmen Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between design, production, and sales. This position is essential to ensuring that our product offerings meet market demands, maintain quality standards, and align with our business objectives. You will be responsible for managing product assortments, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring optimal inventory levels across our retail operations. Key responsibilities Analyse market trends and consumer demand to identify merchandising opportunities and inform product selection strategies Develop and maintain product assortment plans that maximise sales and profitability whilst meeting customer preferences Coordinate with production, design, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products and optimal inventory management Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and product lifecycle to minimise waste and obsolescence Prepare detailed merchandising reports and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making Conduct regular reviews of product performance data and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with retail partners and sales teams to communicate product information and promotional strategies Manage product specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements throughout the merchandising process Participate in product launches, seasonal collections, and special promotions to drive commercial success Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to negotiate terms and ensure product standards are
