Fire Engineer bertanggung jawab dalam merancang dan mengembangkan sistem proteksi kebakaran yang komprehensif, mencakup sistem alarm, hydrant, sprinkler, foam, hingga sistem pemadaman gas. Peran ini melibatkan analisis risiko kebakaran dan bahaya pada fasilitas atau proyek, serta melakukan perhitungan teknis seperti perhitungan hidrolik dan kebutuhan air untuk memastikan desain memenuhi standar internasional dan regulasi lokal. Selain aspek desain, Fire Engineer berperan dalam meninjau gambar teknik, memberikan rekomendasi teknis untuk meningkatkan kinerja keselamatan kebakaran, serta berkoordinasi dengan tim proyek, HSE, dan kontraktor. Posisi ini juga mencakup partisipasi dalam inspeksi, pengujian, commissioning sistem, serta penyusunan laporan teknis dan prosedur keselamatan kebakaran.
Tanggung jawab: Design and develop fire protection systems including fire alarm systems, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, foam systems, and gas suppression systems.; Conduct fire risk assessments and fire hazard analysis for facilities and projects.; Perform fire protection design calculations, including hydraulic calculations and water demand analysis.; Ensure fire protection system designs comply with international standards and local regulations.; Review and approve engineering drawings related to fire protection systems.; Provide technical recommendations to improve fire safety performance in buildings or industrial facilities.; Coordinate with project teams, HSE, mechanical, electrical engineers, and contractors during project execution.; Participate in inspection, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.; Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and fire safety procedures.; Provide technical support and training related to fire safety when required.
